Smerdon and Jones is a firm of Chartered Quantity Surveyors established in Plymouth in 1952 by Peter Smerdon and Alfred Jones. The present Directors, Mervyn Kendall and Mark Adams have been with the Practice since 1968 and 2009 respectively, with David Buckingham maintaining his long association with the Company in a consultancy capacity.

Smerdon and Jones has an Associate Practice, GNA Chartered Surveyors, with an office in Nottingham.

Smerdon and Jones has built a reputation for providing a personal service to its clients who include Local Authorities, Government Departments, Banks, Building Societies, Housing Associations and various Commercial, Industrial and Property Companies and Charitable Bodies.

The Practice covers the normal field of Quantity Surveying services including Viability Studies, Cost Plans, Approximate Estimates, Tender Documentation, Post Contract Services, Project Management and Contract Administration.
